The Fans

My grandson positioned the fans last night. Downstairs it is much cooler, but we spend our time mostly upstairs. So, we put fans on the stairs. It really cools it off upstairs. When it gets up in the 90s it is literally like an oven upstairs, so every effort is taken to cool it off. We can also turn on the A/C downstairs to add to the cool air coming up.
When it gets upwards of 75 degrees out it starts really heating up in the apartment. We closed the windows and blinds during the day and open it all up at night. I have the upstairs A/C in my room and run it when it gets really hot. I just can't handle it like I used to be able to.

I have a ceiling fan in the living room which helps a lot.

I know what you are saying since when the heat outside manages to get inside of the home, the fans inside of the living room have to be placed on.

I noticed last year that I have a lot more trouble with heat. Ever since I gave myself heat exhaustion I have struggled. We are single story, but you can tell when the sun is in the east and the west. In the afternoon my office is hot because it is on the west end of our house. We sleep in a bedroom on the east.
