Happy Monday Everyone! it's a cloudy morning with probably rain at some point during the day. Yesterday was a fun day as the whole family was here to celebrate Mother's Day and the birthdays for this month. It was loud, fun and lots of laughs. We had too much food and a wide variety of desserts. We sang Happy Birthday to my grandson who will be 21 tomorrow, my youngest daughter who celebrates on Thursday and my middle daughter at the end of the month. Each had a cake with candles to blow out and of course I had a sliver of each piece

We had other desserts on our buffet table and 99% of it I send home with everyone. I did keep a few little sweets to indulge in. Hobby Lobby has yarn on sale this week and guess what I got for Mother's Day....a gift card for Hobby Lobby

and a whole bunch of other things. So, you know I'll either be heading to Hobby Lobby at some point this week OR loading up my cart online. But, for now I'm just going to enjoy my coffee and relax. Nothing planned for today. How was your weekend?

Your family gatherings remind me of the big gatherings that we used to have with my mother-in-law. We are a large family, and all of the generations come to share in the fun and food. My weekend was good too, just on a much smaller scale.

We do these big family gatherings a few times a year but I don't think my family is quite as big as yours. I'll treasure all these happy times and making memories for as long as they last. I'm sure as my grandkids get married it will be harder to find time when everyone can be together. Glad you had a good weekend too,
