I got a new hoover …..The Mister is very romantic…..lol !

So, a couple of days ago my hoover ….a good one ….made a few bad noises, coughed and spluttered ….then ….nothing ! Oh no ! The Mister took it apart when he came home …. Still nothing …..it had well and truly died …. Gone to the great carpet cleaning world in the sky ….. So, The Mister had an unexpected day off today and after doing some jobs around the house and garden he says “are you ready ?” “ what for ?” I ask “It’s a surprise ?” How romantic …..I thought ….. Where did we go …. A walk in the sunshine in the park …… A drive out to a country pub for a drink ….. Nope….. Curry’s, electrical shop …. Plus side ….. I have a new hoover …another good one …. Aren’t I a lucky girl ….

You are lucky really. Romantic lunches/walks are all very nice but they don't clean carpets.
