Why I didn't recognize the truck

So, as I wrote previously I had gone past the garage where friend and son had the truck towed in this area. I did not see it, a fact I reported to them. Anyway, although the owner had an emergency and was out for 2 days he finally verified he had the truck. We drove past there on Sunday. The cab had been taken off the truck and it looked completely different. So, I did not recognize it. However, we saw it on Sunday.

That would confuse me as well. I'm not a vehicle person so I rely heavy on the body style and color of the car/truck to identify people we know. Drives my husband insane lol he does know cars.

Well, at least the lost is found. Now they have to get busy fixing it! It will probably take a while though honestly.
