Shame on Him

I gathered all of the trash from the house to be disposed of this morning. One of the waste bins was filled with trash, which astonished me because I had never used it in the parking lot. I put them in a trash bag and took them to the trash area so the garbage collector could pick them up, even though I was disappointed. After 30 minutes, I caught the culprit off guard. It was my younger sister's neighbor. Out of frustration, I called his attention to it and tried to use his own trash bins. I hate to say that I am not a helper to throw away his own mess. Have you experienced dealing with shameless people like this? Image Credit: img.freepik.com

We are lucky here, we separate the trash for recycling in different bags and we bring outside only the day they are collected. No one can use our sealed bag once it's outside.

It is also the same thing in my hometown. It should be segregated. If not, the garbage collectors will not get them.

@LadyDuck It is also the same thing here. In my hometown, solid waste management strictly needs to be carried out.

@Shavkat - We have to close the bags before placing them outside the gate.

I hope he will stop doing it. If not, he will regret it.

I just hope he doesn’t do that again now that you caught him off guard and called his attention. Hopefully, this will be the last time, and he’ll make an effort to take care of his own garbage responsibly, throwing it in the right place so no one will be bothered by this behavior.

@Shavkat, I guess you don't have to sound harsh to express your voice or opinion. Being caught in the act was already embarrassing enough.

@rsa101 Yes. I acted professionally as much as possible. However, if this person showed disrespect and continued to deny the fact, then that would be another story.

Indeed. I am sure he had seen the fierceness of my face. However, the tone of my voice did not reflect what I looked like.

I am glad we moved out of our old apartment to a better one. Trash is not the problem, but the pooop of our neighbors' dogs. And they keep denying it every day except when my mom catches them.

@Shavkat They have the audacity to lact like the victim, if you can only see their faces while denying it!

@luisadannointed You described them well. The more they do this, the more it will make you want to squeeze them alive. Since I cannot do that, they will have words that cannot be swallowed.

That is the problem with these kinds of individuals. They cannot even take the responsibility and apologize. If you catch them, sometimes they will still defend themselves.

I think you are lucky. In my neighborhood, they are not that friendly. So I just ignore them. With this kind of concern, we need to call their attention.

@Shavkat I guess I am lucky since previous neighborhoods where my relatives used to live, there were a few rotten apples as neighbors.

@Deepizzaguy I used to live in a house with good neighbors. They were my elders' friends and childhood friends.

I have been reporting to the person-in-charge to tell the neighbors about this concern. It seems like he is not doing his job. So, I took the action when I caught him right then and there.

@valherma00 It sounds like this person is not doing his job. I do not like this kind of people who tend to put themselves away from the problems.

@Shavkat even our person-in-charge here doesn't care and he said to me a couple of times to call the police if i can't find the solution, which doesn't make any sense. if there is really no other option, we have to step out and i am glad you did that

Such people are everywhere. It is good that you could identify the culprit. Hope this is not repeated.

I tried my best to catch this culprit. It is because I have been throwing trash that is not ours. Yesterday, it was perfect timing to catch him at that very moment.

That's very unethical! I really hate that kind of person, so irresponsible. You can file a complaint against your sister's neighbor.
