So now I have a zero-gravity chair

Believe me it isn't fancy. My ex bought 2 of them from Walmart or something I think the last summer we were together. He liked sitting out on the patio to smoke cigars, drink beer, and listen to baseball/music. I would join him sometimes but usually I'd lounge in the hammock if I was spending time outside during the day. I don't think I ever even tried one that summer.
Well I was re-introduced to them on my recent "spa vacation" as my mother and ex call it. We had the option of acupuncture 2x per week. The room was dark and filled with a soothing aromatherapy scent, calming music was playing, and there were zero gravity chairs and blankets! I always brought my JB fleece blanket everywhere so I didn't need to borrow one (gross) but I DID use the zero-gravity chairs.
LOVE LOVE LOVE. They can be a little tricky to use the first time but they are great because you can lay back but also have an almost-weightless feeling. Very relaxing which is great when you are huffing aromatherapy and have needles in your ears and face.
So of course when I got back here I asked him if he still had them. He said he had 1 because he gave the other to his sister. I said I'd buy it from him. He just laughed and said "its yours". He dropped it off last night.
So now I'm super-classy. I'm living in an apartment like a crazy cat lady with lawn furniture in my bedroom.

It was delightful last night. I was laying in it under a blanket with a yoga nidra sleep meditation on. Now I just need a candle or some some aromatherapy spray. Can't wait to use it tonight!

Those sound interesting. I would be curious to check them out.

I have not tried them but know a lot of people like them. I am sure it is relaxing and good for you as well.

We got a pair of them years ago when they first came out.
We used to love them, you do feel amazing when you are reclined in it.
The year that my Dad passed away, which was July 4th, 2009, we were in a heatwave, and Ron and I both fell sound asleep in the chairs while sitting outside on the back deck. I didn't even know that I was that exhausted, but grief does strange things to our bodies.
Enjoy that new chair.

"Sounds interesting," I say. "Why not? Whoever said lawn furniture was made for just the lawn."
