Indulge to AI-Generated Faces

Nowadays, some people can deceive others with the enhancement of their faces with the usage of AI apps. At some point, we cannot distinguish if they are real or not. For instance, I have a new friend who uses avatars that are being polished with the use of AI. When I checked his profile photos, his avatars did not resemble his real face anymore. He even told me how I made my face so real. I was laughing at him and uttered that it is my real face and I never use AI apps to edit my photos. For me, it is not good to play deception just to attract others.
What is your point of view about AI-generated faces?

Here is what I think. I do not think AI is dangerous by itself. Even the people who design AI seem to have enough morals to try to make sure AI will not be dangerous, but all the greedy wannabe powerful people in world will abuse AI to no ends, making it the most dangerous thing in the world.

That’s true—you can even change your wardrobe to match your style. But you can often spot clues that something is AI-generated, like AI hallucinations, where some enhancements are overly exaggerated and sometimes create odd anomalies in the picture.

@Shavkat That’s true—now that AI is so accessible, many are tempted to overuse it to make themselves look flawless. In the end, they often create a version of themselves so different that people who know them may find it unrecognizable or even see it as an unbelievable image.

I have a close friend who loves altering his looks as an avatar. I find it not good for deceiving others virtually. Some virtual friends were asking me if that is his real face. Most of the time, I don't say anything and ignore it. One of the reasons, I don't want him to be humiliated because of this concern.

Nowadays in news channels we can find people from European countries using AI to answer interview questions but the difference is stark from original.

@aninditasen I do agree that it is one of the functions. Instant answers can be given without any sweat at all.

@Shavkat Some think it saves time. They can do other work while their AI image speaks for them.

@valherma00 Don't be worried. The right job will come along. If it did not want to out, it means it is not for you. However, it is not the end of the world. We still have the mission what is right for us in this world.
