It seems like many people are interested in wine, beer and books in this area. The stalls had a lot of traffic and so did the winery which also serves beer. I learned I really don't like pickle beer and would never order it. A lady sitting across from me had some and asked if I wanted to try it, as we were discussing our love of pickles...Nasty...way too salty. I found out who Jack Jouett was who was this counties Paul Revere. I also found out they had riding trails in and around a Civil War battlefield to the West. I have enjoyed riding the two or three times I did it, and would love to do it again. I got soured on it for a little while as I was on a horse in the Shenandoah area which is somewhat mountainous..and it freaked me out a bit..I kept thinking he was going to fall off the trail as he was on the very edge. However, horise proved sure footed. Also, I traded my Joy of Cooking..too many steps no pictures, with a book on the Science of Memory by LIsa Genova. The one who wrote Still Alice which later became a movie with Alec Baldwin and Julia famous red head, blanking on the name..but Genova says OK, doesn't mean you have Alzheimers.. UPdate: Julie Ann Moore.

It sounds like fun, anything to do with books would be my thing. I would have had to take my coffee, but the books would no doubt keep me there for awhile.

Yes, some interesting books on that book swap table and I am glad I got rid of Joy of Cooking..too big, and I doubt seriously I would make anything from it..one of those cookbooks that is way too involved..more like something NJChicca would use.

It sounds like you had fun. No on me and booze. Yes to horses but can't any more due to rotten knees and leg muscles gone South.
