We went shopping this afternoon to get a few things for Moms Birthday lunch tomorrow…..whilst The Mister was getting a trolley I was looking in the returned trollies …. I found two coupons… One was for fabric conditioner …..try for £1. The other for a free bathroom air freshener I can certainly use both of those …. Aren’t vouchers / coupons great !

I wish I have time for that but I do have some discount cards of some stores over here and I get good bargains from them.

I never see coupons anymore and wouldn't know where to look for them. I have to be really careful with laundry detergents. I'm allergic to so many types... I just stick with Arm & Hammer non-scented. I know I don't have allergies to it. I use Snuggle fabric softener...

@Traceyjayne When I was working at a dog food factory, we had company supplied and washed uniforms. The detergent they used rubbed my skin raw. I asked about washing my uniforms at home and they wouldn't let me until my supervisor saw blood on my uniform and asked what happened. When I told him the shirt rubbed my skin off, he let me start washing my uniforms myself. I've used Arm & Hammer laundry detergent since I moved out of mom's house at 18 years old. Snuggle fabric softener has the cute little bear logo on it. On television, the little bear wraps himself in a towel dried with snuggle. His name is Snuggles.

@DaddyEvil is it a koala ? We have one on toilet paper…Cushelle. It’s a shame it took til there was blood on the uniform before they let you wash it yourself.

@DaddyEvil. Yes, it is different for you with your allergies, you do have to be careful. I have Arm & Hammer toothpaste. I did not know they did laundry products too. I don’t know Sunggle either .( maybe under a different name here )

I'm pretty envious about all your vouchers and coupons. We get points when we shop at our supermarket and we will cash them in one day.

@JudyEv. I do get lots of vouchers, but I admit I do look for them …. I get points from my loyalty cards and are sent vouchers several times a year from that. Again, if I ‘womble’ a receipt that hasn’t had points put on, I will go to customer services and have them put on my account. I have money to claim next week from a ‘wombled’ receipt too. I am quite savvy about it all.

@VictorFrankenstein Yes you can claim points and money in Tesco. ( two receipts per day can be added ) With Morrisons. Again, if you find a receipt that hasn’t used a card just scan the barcode. Do you use the Morrisons app ? You always have offers on there too.

@Traceyjayne That's a good tip, I hadn't thought of that. I've already started picking up receipts to scan using apps like Clear! And Shoppix, but I hadn't thought of using them to claim points directly from the supermarket. I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Morrisons, and I've just checked their website. It turns out that you can claim More points on the website by scanning or entering the barcode from the bottom of a receipt, if you forgot to scan your card at the supermarket. I'm going to try this with receipts I find in future.

@LindaOHio …..I certainly have ….its amazing the number of these vouchers that people just throw away. I guess if they don’t use the product they don’t think they could give it away or give it to the food bank. Everything is so expensive these days I whoop with joy when I find a voucher for a freebie or bargain.
