I think I need to change my eyeglasses after 2 years. I think my eyesight is getting blurry, but I hope not. I want to enjoy reading books without using eyeglasses, but recently I can't even read my messages on my phone.
So you wear eyeglasses? My doctor said that there is nothing wrong with my eyes; it is just normal for fortysomething women to have age-related vision changes.
How old are you when you start using eyegalsses, do you wear one?

I was 18 when I got my first pair of glasses and my first set of contacts. I only need them when I drive. I can read just fine without glasses.

I can't read without them, especially when the font is too small. But I can still read books, but its kinda blurry.
Anyway, that young? Why? Are you always on a computer? Or you don't eat vegetables? Kidding.

@DaddyEvil I used an e-book app. Thank you for the advice, I was forced to change my background also the other day while I was at the cafe, coz I really can't read, I am glad it really works. Hehehe. Thank you.

@luisadannointed What app are you using to read your ebooks? I use the Kindle app on my phone. I can make the text larger or smaller if I'm having trouble focusing so I can read it easily. I also changed my phone background to black and the text on the ebooks to white to help see it easier. You can do that with the Kindle app and it's free in the app store.

I'm 35 years old and started wearing glasses when I was in my 20's. I have distance issues but they're also for screens. I'm light sensitive so I also need darker lenses on top of glasses in general,

Oh! I hope wearing one makes you more comfortable with your vision.

@luisadannointed They help when I remember to wear them. My husband is always reminding me to take them with me or to wear them at the house when I work online.

I’m wearing one. I think I started using glasses in my twenties, but it’s been on and off since then because I can still read without them and see nearby objects clearly. It’s only faraway things that are a bit blurry, but still manageable. I can usually make out what I’m seeing. That’s why I never really used them consistently before.
It’s only now that I’ve been wearing them more regularly, and I’m using progressive lenses.

I need them when I am reading and eating, but I can still do my daily routine without them.
Thank you for sharing your eyeglasses journey.

I think I was 21 when I started wearing one after my first work. When I was a child, I already had an issue with my vision, and I’ve always had headaches that ended in me throwing up.

It's a sign that you are having a problem with your vision. Welcome back, Maryann.
I hope to read a new blog post from you.

I have worn glasses for many years. I'm used to it now.
