I Want to See Inside This Guys Head

Taylor Sheridan that is. He is the creator and writer for such shows as Yellowstone, Lioness, Landman, Marshalls, 1883, 1923, Dutton Ranch, and up and coming 6666 and 1944 that are still on the list of upcoming Paramount shows. This guy is a cowboy who owns one of the ranches used on Yellowstone. He says he writes to be able to afford his ranching and he paid hundreds of millions of dollars for the 6666 Ranch he now owns. The reason I want to glimpse inside this mind is that he seems to write the best lines imaginable. Like for instance, when the character Monica had lost a baby, he gives John Dutton the story to tell her about his loss and he says something to the effect of "Your baby had the perfect life. All he had known in his short life was you and the love you had for him. Not everybody gets that." Those words help her in her grief. Then another situation is where the character of Beth has asked Rip to marry him. He excepts and she says: "Only one thing I ask of you is that you outlive me so I never have to live a day without you." Wow! Those are some heavy lines. I want to see what else he has going on in his mind/brain. What a writer. He had me in tears. And the fans and viewers of this franchise have a lot to look forward to because Sheridan has signed a 5-year contract that begins in 2029 after his current Paramount contract expires. He has ideas for at least two more shows in the Yellowstone franchise and who knows what else he has in mind.

There are so many brilliant creative people around, I could make up a scary or funny story but it might not be realistic enough. When they opened up Stephen Kings house for tours someone said they are worried a lot of his chracters especially the clown from IT might be hanging around because he made them so realistic,

Yes, indeed. A writer's mind is so interesting. I truly admire them.
