Do you grow some of your own vegetables?

I like the idea of growing my own vegetables. At the moment I only can grow some tomatoes. I hope in the future I will be able to grow some other vegetables like broccoli ,cilantro, basil, chili and lemongrass.
My tomato plant is thriving and producing a lot of fruits. I will have tons of tomatoes soon.
Anyway, do you grow any vegetables?

The house of my maternal parents had a big yard and they had a number of fruit bearing trees.

@allen0187 That sounds like a beautiful memory. There is something really magical about a grandparent's yard, especially when it is full of fresh fruit ready to be picked.
What fruit trees did they have in their yard?

@LadyDuck That is a fantastic culinary lineup! Expanding from the hardy Mediterranean staples (mint, basil, thyme, oregano) to more robust, aromatic herbs will elevate your cooking.
I like those herbs. Most of the time I add them in my salad dressing.
I never knew dill was so tricky to grow.

No, I don't. The house we live in. Is more than a century old. It has no space for a garden. But I and my friends plant trees in school premises, temple premises, along the slope of a hillock and in graveyards and crematoriums. I'm planning to renovate my house with a space left for a garden.

That is such a beautiful and selfless way to contribute to the environment! Even without a home garden right now, the work you and your friends do to plant trees across your community is amazing. It’s wonderful that you are already planning to include a garden in your house renovation—it will be a great reward for all your hard work.

I love raspberries. Raspberries are fantastic to focus on because they are so rewarding. it saves a ton of daily maintenance while still giving you a delicious, high-yield harvest. That's awesome.
I'm thinking about growing some raspberries bushes, too.

@valherma00 I couldn't agree more. Outdoor access is such a great asset. Having a shared terrace or roof would not only be a lovely place to relax, but it would also provide a perfect opportunity for a small vegetable garden.

At the moment …tomatoes, I have seedlings growing ….leek, courgette, cauliflower, I am waiting for my herbs to grow too ….sage, basil, rosemary, chives
