I met a family

A fine feathered family, on my way to the Centre this morning... Mr & Mrs C. Goose, and their little ryan... I mean, gosling. They were standing on the sidewalk along where the old hospital once was. The 25 acre (I think) site was demolished years ago to make way for housing, but the company went into receivership and the land lay half-cleared ever since. Since there had been some excavation done, a nice little pond developed there... frequented by geese. But someone else took over the site and has been "doing stuff" preparing the site for 6 or 7 highrises. And I could hear Daddy Goose saying, "Well son, I thought this would be a nice place for you to grow up in." (Geese don't care about dangling participles) and Mommy was just standing there rolling her eyes.
