On the way home from the hospital yesterday our yellow bike died.
We were more than half way home
Headed for Arbroath and doing about 50 mph on the dual carriage.way.
Suddenly the bike started losing compression
A grinding noise followed
The bike slowed down and then picked up again
And then it just stopped
Omg we had to get rescued
13 miles from home
So that was our trip home and now I only have one bike which I now have.to get ready for our holiday tomorrow

Well the bike breaker yard picked us and the bokemup and took us home
And took the bike away with them
Not my bike now

I phoned a bike breaker yard
They came and picked up the bike
And took us home
And I didn't want the bike back so I let them keep it

Oh boy..it's always something. I have been lucky in that regard. A vehicle hasn't left me sitting on the side of the road for quite some time. One time coming back from Pennsylvania friend's car broke down in West Virginia. We used to take that route then. Anyway, it was on a Sunday, and it took 3 days to fix. We stayed in hotel, and it was quite fun, like a vacation. My only regret was I didn't have a swimming suit with me.
