I saw this sign in a shop recently and it made me laugh – although of course it’s funny because it’s so close to the truth. How many places does your device recognise as familiar?

I thought it said wife at first too! I only use my laptop at home. My phone rarely goes out with me.

What’s the point of having a phone if you don’t take it with you? Mine goes where I do!

@Orson_Kart J always has her phone. I don't have anyone to call most of the time.

When I first saw that, I read it as "where the wife connects automatically"

I usually connect to WiFi in places where it’s free, but I am wary that they warn you that the connection isn’t secure. I don’t know why that is, but I avoid accessing my bank app whilst in these establishments and just do general browsing or checking the weather (which is my favourite hobby ).

Our daughter-in-law had a similar sign, framed on the nightstand in the spare bedroom of a home that they used to live in. I thought it was a nice gesture, so that we, or any guest did not have to come out and request that information.

There are some great signs around. I don't really know what my phone knows and what it doesn't.

It knows more about you than you do about it, that’s for sure!

@Orson_Kart That wouldn't surprise me at all.

Very true, when first checking in look for the WiFi!
