The Streets, Restaurants, and Stores Are Empty

Is everybody but me at the lake on Memorial Day?
We went to the usual Mexican restaurant for lunch and we were the only customers there.
I stopped in at the convenience store for scratch-off lottery tickets and I was the only one there.
I went to Walgreens for protein bars and I was the only one there.
Is everybody at your house???

No lakes or water for me. But, my little county has a yearly festival and we always go. This weekend I was able to take grandbaby 5 and grandbaby 6. Grrandbaby 5 is somewhere on the spectrum and he wouldn't do any rides but he did enjoy a funnel cake. Grandbaby 6 toold me, in no uncertain terms, "I'm not riding the ferris wheel., so, the first ride we got on was the ferris wheel, lol. He was scared at first and kept his eyes closed. I told him to look down at papa and grandbaby 5 and 6 opened and looked down. he laughed at how small everyone looked. After that we went to another ride that he said seemed scary. I told him, "You said you didn't want to ride that." His response, "I rode the ferris wheel, I'm not scared of anything."

@LooeyVille I was annoyed at 6 (Grandson, I don't use their names, their numbers are the order in which they were born) but once I realized it was because of the autism, I understood what was going.

No, and all my campers have left. I imagine some are at the lake and some are at Memorial Day Commemorations at cemetaries.

People usually have certain places they accumulate on holidays, I bet if I had gone to the Daytona Beach today it would have been crowded and tonight I know they will have fireworkd,
