What Dreams May Come from 1998 with Robin Williams. Have you watched it? / myLot

I just watched it on my telly. I think it was a week ago on telly as well. I read online it didn't go well at the cinemas. I liked the song that was made in our language, inspired by this movie. This movie has a lot and by each watching, i find something else. I don't want to spoil the things to you who hadn't watched it yet but i would say this is a romantic movie with dramatic elements. Losing one person and watching her from above. The movie is an adaptation of the book so maybe the book would explain all this better. Was this only the man's imagination or was he really in heaven? And how come they are mentioning heaven, hell and reincarnation together. I think the movie should portray Purgatory too cause it is between heaven and hell. Also, i like that the main character said if someone killed himself or himself, why go to hell cause, they tortured themselves enough. I am aware you have an opinion of your own on this. Well, not a bad movie; i am just going to say it has a happy ending but there should be something more. The movie topic was specific so, i get it it's not to everyone's taste. P.s. In Croatian, we translated it, I am dreaming awake

I remember when that movie came out, but it just didn’t do very well. The reviews were middling, but honestly, I never go by professional critics. I have seen some great movies that were panned by people who consider themselves experts.

I also never listen to critics. I was still in the middle school in 1998 so i think i watched the movie 1-2 years later but i remember i liked the movie and was enchanted with the colours, robin's acting.i think i read that special effects were done by the same team that was working on matrix movies so,there you go.
