Lots and lots of changes in our lives all of the time. There is no doubt.
I was due for an eye exam in March or April, but I was preparing for my trip out west, and put it off. Today I called to book an eye exam. the place that I go no longer has an eye doctor, but they fill prescriptions. I fail to understand how they will survive without someone doing the exams and patients needing to get the prescriptions filled. Oh well, back to the drawing board, I need to find another eye doctor. I wished that they would have reached out to tell the patients, so that we could gain our medical records.
Yesterday was a warm day, and it did not cool down much over night. We turned the a/c on this morning. Of course by early afternoon, the air temperature outside cooled a bit. Now it is cool enough that I could really turn off the a/c, but we will appreciate having it on for when we sleep tonight. We both prefer it very cold at nights.
I have all of the fixings for a deli meat/cheese supper here also-which was weather inspired. I picked up some fresh butter croissants and we have some fresh deli ham, summer sausage and turkey breast meat, some gouda cheese, lettuce and of course lots of condiments. To go with these I made a nice creamy pasta salad and we have a bit of hashbrown casserole leftover, which I should reheat so that we can finish that off.
Thank goodness for changes, it keeps me on toes. Maybe tomorrow afternoon I will try to go online and find a new eye doctor and book myself in for an exam.

I can go to the former eye doctor that I had, but it has been about 5 or 6 years since I saw him last, so I am starting all over again.
I have to find a good place to get the prescription filled, as that is what adds up.
Funny, about 5 years ago it seemed like there was no shortage of optical places but now it is another story. I would opt for a longer guarantee (my old place had a 2 year guarantee) over designer frames.

Hope the eye doctor shopping goes well. Your din sounds good. No AC needed here. Too soon to tell about tommorrow

I am concerned what becomes of my records, my personal information is included in those.
If I am not too exhausted after work (we're busy this week) then I will begin the task of searching online for a new doctor. I started last night and may have found one, I will follow up today.

I still go to see my eye doctor in Switzerland, I trust him and I do not want to change.
The temperature outside is very, very hot, it went up to 34 C yesterday. Inside the apartment it's 24 C, my husband thought it was "too cold"
For sure A/C is not something he wants.

I hate the thought of starting all over again.
How many doctors need to have my information, and what becomes of it afterwards is a concern of mine.
We have had weather in the upper 20's and 1 day it reached 30, but starting today will be in the low to mid 20's which is gorgeous weather.
I slept so well last night with the a/c on. I actually did not move at all and must have slept the entire night on my right side because my right hip is throbbing this morning. But at least I am well rested.

@LadyDuck Ron suggested an optometric center in Byron, which is the area that Jonathon lives in. I looked at it online, and although they want you to book an appointment online, I will call them this afternoon after I finish working. Booking appointments for a new doctor online requires providing more information than I am comfortable with exchanging in that way. They have a team of about half a dozen doctors.
