Last night we lost electricity and it took 10 hours to have it restored. Sadly tonight it happened once again. Just like last night, it started with a loud explosion somewhere nearby. The sound alone was enough to make everyone anxious because we already knew what was coming next, darkness, heat, and another uncomfortable night.
It is really frustrating when power interruptions keep happening repeatedly. The heat becomes unbearable, especially at night when all you want is to rest and sleep peacefully. Our power station fan helped for a while, but batteries do not last forever. The only difference now, there is a bit of cool breeze in the air.
I just hope the electric company finally fixes whatever is causing these explosions because two nights in a row without proper electricity feels exhausting already.

sounds like Jamaica... I was fortunate in that before 2020 I lived on the road which went along and then up the hill to the PM's house. So you know if light went it was minutes before restored. Now I live in the area where his wife is MP so.. during Melissa it was down two days almost... since... a few hours

Oh that is really bad to have that daily outages. I think there’s someone out there who consumes electricity more that what they should since that explosion is a sign that someone is overusing power in your place. It should be investigated who’s responsible for this explosion incidents happening almost daily.
