So, last year my neighbour on one side at the caravan decided to call it a day and give up the caravan. I now have new neighbours there ....very nice, older than me, with a dog.
About an hour ago, my neighbour the other side came round ....they are giving up their caravan at the end of the season.
That means new neighbours there next year.
I am hoping for a quiet but friendly couple....not rowdy, crying kids, yapping dogs or swearing parents.
Fingers crossed we get someone nice

@traceyjayne I wrote yesterday about us getting new neighbours across from us. I’m hoping for two elderly spinster sisters with cats.

@Traceyjayne We had a neighbour long time ago who was a rather distasteful man with an even more distasteful habit. On Friday nights (only Fridays) he would dispose of his contraceptive equipment through the bedroom window. We know because it landed perilously close to our garden. One night it landed on their washing line from which it dangled for a week. His 30 year old uncle came to stay after breaking up with his fancy woman and was continually inebriated, and played at full volume Air Supply’s “I’m all out of love”. That was a nightmare summer.

Hope you get nice people and don't have to deal with rowdy, crying or swearing.
I have new neighbors moving in behind me and I'm hoping they're nice too

It's always a bit of a worry when you get new neighbours.

@Traceyjayne Fair enough. I'd be thinking the same, don't worry.

The site owners will definitely swap the caravan for a new one so I'm hoping that the cost will filter out any undesirable people ....sorry if that makes me sound a snob.

Oh I do hope so .....I don't mind hustle and bustle when I'm at home but here at the caravan I just like peace and quiet.
