Yesterday my corner enjoyed summer temps of almost 80. Windy but sweet enough that we ate supper outside. Today we're enjoying a tickle of rain and maybe the 50's.
The other side of my state? Where I moved from? Those poor folks got a whomping last night. 75 mph wind gusts in spots. Power out and trees down. Oh my it must have been scary. I'm grateful we moved.
No I did not mow grass yesterday. Too bad!

That would be scary. Grateful you moved too! Enjoy the sun.

@snowy22315 We used to live in a mobile home and it was on a little hill. One afternoon the wind gusted to maybe 40 miles an hour. The house rocked and the windows moved enough that the dogs started hysterically barking. I hope the folks that live there now are okay.

It is terrible when a storm knocks out electricity and knocks down trees and power lines.

@Deepizzaguy I agree. There are photos of large trampolines blown onto powerlines.

It was raining sideways today when I took Sadie to get groomed today. I made her a little covering, and we set off. By the time she was ready to be picked up it was done raining, the sun was out, and it was a little steamy. She also proudly showed off her nails to me when I came to get her (that was my interpretation anyway).
It sounds like your weather was my ideal!
