Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 65 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. This is too cold for the end of May! It is Saturday so I was able to sleep in. What a great feeling! I woke up at like 7, rolled over and then it was 8, rolled over and then it was 9:30. Soon I will be able to do that every day. I took a bath and then my mother came over to color and cut my hair. Too bad she can't do tinsel. haha While she was here she decided to do plant CPR on a peace lily I was given almost 3 years ago when my dad passed. She went out to get potting soil and a bigger pot for it. My hair is shorter and unfortunately dark again. The good news is that it was free and the color will lighten up over the summer. She's gone now and I am just working on some cleaning chores. I've taken out bags of garbage and recycles (don't ask) but there is still a stink in here. No it isn't the cat pee smell. . . it smells like a dead mouse. For years and years we had a mouse issue at work. You haven't lived until you've walked into your classroom after a 4 day weekend and there is a dead mouse. I know the smell. That's what it smells like in here and I can't figure it out. Mice are an issue for the 1st floor. I'm on the 3rd AND I have 3 cats in here. Mice are NOT an issue. So the source of the smell is a mystery that I will be working on solving this afternoon. No big plans beyond the smell investigation aside from cooking dinner later. What's everyone else up to?
