Wonderful Weather

Our weather has finally turned around. And, although it is not hot, it is very enjoyable and easy to spend time outside. The past couple of days we've enjoyed some time outside with the babies. It was a really long winter. Back in the early '90's our son had a Power Wheels Jeep. I remember burning alot of calories trying to keep pace with him going down the sidewalk. The backyard was a bit easier as the grass provided enough friction to slow him down just a little bit. Now, it is his turn, as a parent to enjoy those times. Each of the girls has a little battery operated car. Today's car has more options, including a radio, than his little ole jeep had. And yesterday the babies each donned their TimBits soccer uniform to play on the newly formed soccer team that they are on. Shin guards and cleats are optional at this age, and none of the children kick hard enough to warrant the shin guards. It is a very nice, short, window of time during the course of the year that the weather is nice enough to get outside without being too hot or too cold.
