Normally, I'd rather go to a regular restaurant, but yesterday our friends invited us to try an Indian buffet. We went to a fantastic, budget-friendly vegetarian spot inside a Hindu temple here in Lisbon. Run by the Hindu Community of Portugal, it serves authentic, all-you-can-eat Gujarati vegetarian and vegan food. Since it's a buffet, the food wasn't as piping hot as I usually like it—which is why I generally prefer traditional restaurants. Still, the flavors were great, and we ended up having a really wonderful time.
