Normally, I'd rather go to a regular restaurant, but yesterday our friends invited us to try an Indian buffet. We went to a fantastic, budget-friendly vegetarian spot inside a Hindu temple here in Lisbon. Run by the Hindu Community of Portugal, it serves authentic, all-you-can-eat Gujarati vegetarian and vegan food. Since it's a buffet, the food wasn't as piping hot as I usually like it—which is why I generally prefer traditional restaurants. Still, the flavors were great, and we ended up having a really wonderful time.

With the price of eating out it's best to eat at a all you can eat buffet you get your $'s worth & get everything you want to eat at 1 place. We stopped eating at just regular restaurants cause it just wasn't worth our time or our $ to eat at restaurants so we eat at all the buffets we can find for lunch & we're full for the rest of the day.

It depends on the restaurant. Sometimes it is better to be served. But it's nice as well on some high end buffet restaurant

Exactly! You get the best of both worlds. There's nothing quite like being pampered with table service, but a high-end buffet with endless delicious options is the ultimate foodie dream!

I love a good buffet. I’d probably prefer them over a regular restaurant, but of course, sometimes it depends on the type of food. I love a seafood buffet especially, but I haven’t seen one of those in years. It’s just too expensive nowadays.

I prefer a regular restaurant. As I am the one who always cooks and serves the food, when I eat out I want to be served.

I like both, but I prefer home made foods the most . Sometimes when I travel to other places, I take my dinner at veg restaurants. I like to eat at buffets also .
