Has anyone watched "Remarkably Bright Creatures" on Netflix yet?

I just finished watching a movie on Netflix called Remarkably Bright Creatures (it’s adapted from that massive bestselling book), and I wanted to share it with you all. I'm no film critic, but I absolutely loved it and thought it would make a perfect recommendation for the community.
The story follows an elderly woman named Tova (played by the amazing Sally Field). She takes a night job cleaning a local aquarium, mostly to stay busy while dealing with some deep, long-held family grief.
While working there, she forms a completely unexpected and unique friendship with an octopus named Marcellus. I know a friendship with an octopus sounds a little unusual, but he actually narrates his thoughts to the audience, and he is hilariously grumpy, sarcastic, and incredibly smart.
The movie alternates between Tova's life, the octopus’s funny late-night adventures, and a young guy who just arrived in town looking for a fresh start. It’s just a beautifully gentle, wholesome story about loneliness, healing, and how comfort can come from the most surprising places. It has a bit of mystery to it, plenty of heart, and it just leaves you feeling warm inside.
I won't give any of the plot away, but I'd love to chat about it:
Has anyone else watched this yet, or maybe you've read the book?
What is your favorite "feel-good" or comforting movie to watch when you want to unwind?
Do you think animals have a way of sensing when humans need a little extra comfort?
Can't wait to see what you all think in the comments. Have a wonderful day ahead!

Yes, animals understand and check on us. I have not seen the movie, nor read the book but may splurge for the movie, because it sounds like one hubby would love.

It sounds like a fantastic movie! I have seen a commercial, but I didn’t know the name of the movie. I’m not familiar with the book either.
I don’t have Netflix, but a friend gave me her password, and it works so I’m sure she wouldn’t mind if I watched it. And the friendship with the octopus doesn’t seem as crazy to me as it would have decades ago. After all, there was a documentary about a scuba diver and a particular octopus that proved you could have what one might refer to as a friendship.
I’d like to see the movie; thanks for recommending it.

A movie that made me feel good was the movie "Paradise Alley" which came out in 1978 about three siblings who lived in poverty in New York City that tried to get out of poverty by entering the world of professional wrestling after the end of World War II.
