Scotland corruption !

A Shakespearean tale of vanity and corruption is on trial in Scotland right now as the Scottish National Parties treasurer of many a year, a Mr Morrell, faces jail for fraud and misappropriation, allegedly stealing £400,000 plus of public and corporate donations to a political party over 12-years. But its gets better, his wife was the leader of that political party at the time and Scotland’s First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon. She was also arrested and claimed she knew nothing about it. People in the party knew something was up but when they pointed out ‘discrepancies’ they were fired for being disloyal to the cause. Her husband was buying flash watches and all sorts with the cash and the misses just assumed - for legal reasons - it was from cash from his well paid job, the pair pulling in well over 300 grand a year salaries so a rational alibi to be fair for the wife. In her police interviews she pledges the fifth and said no comment to most questions. Either way her husband is taking the rap for the crimes and has divorced his wife for further separation from those crimes, old school chivalry you rarely see these days. There was always gossip that because Nicola Sturgeon looked like a tomboy lesbian she was indeed a tomboy lesbian and had secret female lovers in a sham marriage of convenience but yet to be proved. Some say her husband was also secretly gay, teaming up to appeal to more voters and hiding their sexuality. Gay men do like to spend and borrow money big time to look the part. The great sadness here is the donations were to aid the push for Scottish independence, the party’s one and only mandate, an independent Scotland. Their supporters wanted away from the United Kingdom. They got a significant vote in the Scottish Parliament because of it and so a mandate to have the vote, dominating the Scottish Parliament for a decade. With the rise of nationalism across Europe politicos jumped on the chance to harvest that vote and ramped up this party to achieve that. The previous charismatic leader, Alex Salmond, who eventually got a referendum on leaving, knew if he lost that vote he would have to resign and lose all the status, salary and trinkets that come with. He delayed as long as he could but could delay no more and lost that vote and resigned. Sturgeon became the new leader and delayed with the same tactics, drag it out but always make it look like you want another referendum vote but knowing the U.K government wouldn’t grant one and knowing if you did win. Making Scotland work as an independent country would be a bigger logistical nightmare than even Brexit. Just live the grandeur of the job and tease your voters with what they want but never deliver, a common plan with politicians. Morrell did not need to steal this money. Why he did, is the question. Power corrupts. My GUT feeling is, it's just utter contempt for voters - I’m going to steal your money because I’m using your passion for independence to have a well paid job and I pity you for believing that independence would ever happen. He probably got off on it, exercising real arrogance like a Central American dictator. Was his wife involved? Probably, but taking down both of them could mean blow-back for a lot of powerful people and so they would rather the dirty laundry across the kingdom stayed in the drier. If he is jailed then maybe he will squeal like a pig. I have a feeling he will get just enough jail time not to.

After her battle for Scottish independence, it’s ironic that she has moved to London, England. One of the best things I’ve seen relating to this on social media is by Esther McVey, who posted: “BREAKING NEWS - Nicola Sturgeon has updated her pronouns to him/not me”

Why do people who are earning such good money feel the need to go for more? It makes little sense.
