It's Raining Money at Looeyville's House

No, not really, but it does feel good to get money in the mail.
This weekend I got that elusive $400 refund check from Carnival.
Today I received a $170 health insurance reimbursement check from my health insurance company. Two of the doctors I see don't take insurance so I have to pay them up front and then file a claim for reimbursement. Health Insurance doesn't pay 100% of it, but it's enough to make it do-able to keeping seeing these two doctors.
So none of this was "found" money or "free" money - just reimbursements/refunds of money already spent, but it's still a good feeling to get money in the mail.
When's the last time you got money in the mail?

The happiest money storm I’d like to see at your house is hubby finding his wallet, or having it returned to him intact.
I signed up for an AARP sharing private information with Facebook settlement, thinking it would cost more for them to cut and mail the check than I’d actually get. No, I got nearly $100 from the settlement!

Hmm, probably Christmas money in the mail. I did get a check for work on the election though before that.

Sounds like those two checks came at a pretty good time for you.

Better to have it coming in than going out. I got some kind of a settlement last summer from a class action suit, I think it was.
