I was asked online, "Does the thought of getting older scare you?" Well honey, I"m almost 63 so seriously, I better not be scared!! But, if I were asked this question when I was, say, 35, I think it may have frightened me, at least somewhat. And isn't it funny how at 35, 63 feels old? Now here I am at 63 and think, well, maybe old is 75. I hope so anyhow.

sometimes when you think of getting old, you will see that there might be a lot of challenges that will come along the way but I guess, we will just face it once there already

My mom was 46 when she was diagnosed with dementia. All through my 20s and 30s I dreaded my 40s because I felt like my time was coming. Well, I’m 45 now, and it is what it is. Whatever happens, I’ve done my best.
