In the forests part of the timbers are painted white

In the forest in the east the timbers are painted white. The reason is that in the woods at night it is very dark. The white helps drivers identify where are the woods and where are the highway route. The white part looks good also.

Here, the edges of the roads are painted white so drivers can see where the roads are as soon as headlights are turned on. Do you let Sathvik do part of the driving at night when you all go on a trip? Or would he try to run the trees over just for the fun of it?

What a brilliant idea. I noticed many trees are painted in the far East I thought it may have something to do with preventing pests from damaging the trees.

On our bigger roads the trees are kept back from the road. There are short white posts on both sides of the road to help motorists at night.
