Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926. She would be 100 years old this month.
This women was brought up in foster homes only to grow up and reinvent herself into an international symbol of Hollywood glamor. More than 6 decades after her untimely death in 1961 she remains one of the most recognizable icons in history.

I wonder if the younger generation in my courtly knows who Marilyn Monroe is. They don't even know our local legends.
