I got all my groceries today, but I tell you, this high humidity and tropical heat in Florida does not do anyone any good. I have a good delivery and help getting the groceries up to my apartment. However, by the time I got all the groceries put away, I felt just like collapsing and sweat was pouring from my forehead. Then my brain picked up a very old silly song that goes, "Boom chicka, boom chicka, don’t you just love it?" My sentiments exactly, and no, I did not love it. Happy for the groceries, not for the weather. This is the Chick-a-Boom song by Daddy Dewdrop. Finally, when I sat back in front of my fan, that cold beer felt so good.

It's just getting started .Pretty hot here today, but the humidity was at bay. Feels pretty balmy in here now

@snowy22315 well I have a fan in my work room and one that blows on my bed but that is it, So when I was in the kitchen putting away the groceries it sure felt hot,

That’s the first I’ve heard of that song! It’s a funny one. I’m tired of the heat, but I know the humidity is even worse in Florida than here. And, that is saying something.
