I had to go out to pick up a prescription and drop something else at the doc's office. I also wanted to get a couple of things for a recipe. I decided I better hustle because it was supposed to rain again. We had a few sprinkles but so far no big rain. Anyway, I intended to get replacement batteries as the batteries in my remote went out. (Yes, I rolled them, switched positions etc) I can watch TV on the phone but can't turn the TV on the big screen with that. The replacement batteries I had were low..so I guess I will be hunting for some others. I would have just bought them today but I forgot. With it being exceedingly hot the next two days I am not about to go out for them. If I can't find any that work I might consider going out in the evening..but I didn't have any real plans to go out until Saturday. I know my haste to get out of here made me forget the batteries. Don't you hate when you forget something you need?

@Ineeddentures I am always forgetting my tote bags in the car. When I come back it is sitting on the seat or something..

Considering I make notes on my phone for what i need to get , when I forget something it's because I never noted it in my notes on the phone
What's the point of making lists on the phone if you forget to put stuff on the lists

Could you try a new battery in it, to see if it makes a difference?

@Wrexxo I hope so, but remotes typically aren't too expensive unless they are the really big ones.

I can watch the TV on the phone, but you need a remote to turn the TV off and on. I have a lot of batteries around here..something should work.

Look on the back of your tv. You might have an on and off button. Ours does

I get very upset when I forget to buy an item that I need like vitamins and batteries for the remote control.

Yes I do. And next time the t.v. is on, try to program it so you can use your phone to power it on and off. The t.v. still has physical buttons, that you can use to power it on and off and stuff.

If that happens to me it is because I left the list in the car or something.
