People who were celebrating near my building but i was not not sure where they were but it was so noisy. It was also very humid yesterday, before the rain and i would have loved that i could have opened windows but due to loud noise of drums, beats and some music, i closed them but i was suffering. It all started around 6 p.m. and i thought it will get better but no, i went to bed at midnight and i still heard the noise. it started as not too loud and it turned to loud around 9 p.m. It was raining hard last night and i heard thunder a couple of times but, no these people were even shouting like, it made them feel good. I felt so tired when i woke up. I hope this night will be less loud or they just won't clebrate anything. Are your neighbours/people near you loud when they are celebrating, mylotters and are they celebrating until late hours?

if it was on the weekend, i would get it. i also forget how some people don't care about others and there are a lot of people like that in big cities.

My current neighborhood is kind of quiet when it comes to celebrations like New Years Day and Independence Day.

No, not in my immediate area. My apartment neighbors have been warned about that, and they will get fined if they cause disruptions. Now, last night in New York City, I heard buildings shook it got so loud. The New York Knicks (NBA) beat the Spurs by one point on a last minute shot at the buzzer. The celebrations in the streets was absolutely crazy. People went crazy for hours afterward, and the building itself shook so hard it almost qualified as a an earthquake.
