Benton County Sheriff Mike Clark with the assistance of bystanders and some of his deputies worked together to reunite a fawn with her mother and sibling on Monday morning when Sheriff Clark was on the highway that was close to Columbia Park in Washington State when a fawn was in danger of being struck by an auto after the fawn crossed a fence and was near the road.
Sheriff Clark with the assistance of Kennewick Councilman Brad Klippert who is also a Benton County Sheriff deputy worked together to keep the fawn from getting into the highway where autos were driving by.
A passerby came by and provided the female fawn with a blanket when the sheriff and his deputy lifted the fawn over the fence when the fawn reunited with her mother and sibling.
Cheers for the sheriff, his deputy and bystanders for saving a female fawn who could have been hurt getting hit by an auto on a highway.

A feel good story of getting rescued and reuniting with the mom. The fawn is too cute wrapped in a blanket.

@valherma00 I did not know that if a human attempts to rescue a fawn, the mom will leave the fawn seeing a human getting close to her child.

@Deepizzaguy though, i must say, if a fawn is in danger, it's okay to help but if the little wild animal is alone, we are advised here to leave them until their mothers come cause, human scent can make their mothers to abandon them.
