Have You Ever Been Judged Before the Facts Were Checked?

The verdict had already been served but I couldn't remain silent. oh! That isn't fair.
Yesterday, all I did was help my colleague Eric when an important docs he been waiting is still not emailed.
I have never missed to remind everyone to made follow up given the OIC in Fleet Dept. is not only handling one branch transactions.
After helping out. I end up being told
"You never gave the docs to him" with the long sentence over the phone that's the only thing I clearly heard. Lol!
Like, what???
Sir, as per checking with the emails I received from you the last time was when you follow up Eric's report and now when you emailed Ricky's docs. At the same time I have directly sent him in the chatbox the screenshot of his emails I received which I have filtered.
Not sorry at all, but I wouldn't mind as long as I'm able to speak up.
Honestly, the OIC is a busy person and my colleague Eric also have lapses with his duty for not making follow up ahead of time because it's been a month already.
Phew! I want to flick their foreheads.
Glad today is Holiday! nothing much to do here in the office. yay!
Photo was from February when I attached a fuzzy wire on my pen. I made a worm and a pumpkin which is so easy to spot if someone grab my pen.

Yes, I have... One customer got mad because I wouldn't help them with their phone because my boss told me I wasn't allowed to do that anymore. The customer came back into the store the next day and told my boss that I said if they came back the next day, I'd help them. The customer lied! When my boss started griping at me, I pointed out that I could have helped the customer when they came in the night before and my boss wouldn't have known I'd done it. She said that made sense and that the customer was just trying to get me in trouble.
Later, our store manager tried to say customers wouldn't lie about anything. He didn't know customers lie all the time.
I'm glad you had proof that you did your job.

@Jehanne Your boss sounds forgetful.
Surely people know we'll explain what really happened when they talked to us. I worked at Walmart when that happened. My boss could have checked the cameras to see what really happened. I don't bother lying about things. It's too hard to remember who you lied to and what the lie was you told them.

@DaddyEvil it's not that he forgets it but oftentimes due to many people who calls and ask something from him. It can't be avoided he mixed up the docs either wrongly send it or he was suddenly caught up with other things. The very reason he sometimes got annoyed, angry, or accused without thinking when follow up only made after weeks then it becomes months.
Too busy to even hear the other side when he needs to retrieve docs that's already on the archives.

Sometimes people are good at lying without feeling guilty. And some is good in accusing without thinking.
The OIC is always like that and sometimes just laughed it off.
Always came prepared but he is also aware that I and my teammate reply to his email everytime we received it.
There was a time he even wrongly send an email to us and we informed him then at the end he told us to just forward it to the other branch.

as long as there are screenshots, that's good. someone said i didn't email them something and i also had to screenshot them. i mean, the email maybe went to spam but they should check it.
