Not happy this morning..So much for my humanitarian efforts, I managed to get another tick bite last night when going to fill the birdbath.. The only good thing about this is it could lead to possible compensation from the tick study people maybe 100 bucks. I worry though if it is the lone star tick like I have bitten before could increase my positivity to to the Alpha Gal Syndrome and slightly possible red meat allergy.

Yes, I have, killed it although they are hard to kill..washed my hands and arm and placed tick in plastic bag.

@LadyDuck I shudder to think what Nico would pick up if he was allowed outside. He would have to have a detterant on him.

@snowy22315 - Good, I know they are hard to kill. Gevi had the habit to visit the stable not far from us and he always came back home with at least one tick.

Yes, I am just mad at myself. I should have put on spray. I was only outside about 5 minutes though. I was wearing flip flops and the part that attachs broke..so I had to go back to the house
