Happy Friday Everyone! sunny, hot and humid here today. We had a thunderstorm last night but it wasn't severe (thankfully).
Yesterday I had an appointment with the mobile lab to come and do my bloodwork. They showed up on time and the girl was very friendly and it didn't hurt a bit. She was even better than most phlebotomists that have drawn my blood since my veins are so small. Not only was she a pro but I got a notice that my results had gone to my doctors office about 2 hours later and then he messaged me later in the evening. Talk about quick! The good news is the change he made in my medication dosage is working. Who would have thought that a slight increase in my thyroid meds would make such a difference.
I am definitely going to make sure that I use this mobile lab again for my next bloodwork. I'll probably have to have it done again before I see my doctor in October.
I don't have much planned for today and since it was a fairly busy week I'm happy to have the day off (so to speak)
What are you doing today? anything fun?

I wonder if I could use a mobile lab. That would be lazy of ME though since mine is right down the street.
I went to my dad’s this morning because I was in pain, and wanted to get it off my mind. I ended up having lunch there with him, Diana, and around the time he also fed four workers my dad cooked for as a thank you for putting up the building he just bought. I really enjoyed myself.

The mobile lab was extremely convenient so you should see if one is available for you even if the lab itself is close by. I didn't mind having the person coming to my house.
I'm glad you were able to enjoy lunch at your dads. Hope it helped with your pain.

Rain and/or drizzle isn't too bad but those severe storms can really do some damage

Did you have to pay anything extra to use it? I guess your insurance covered. I don't think Humana would

It's covered by my insurance since it's connected to the lab I use.

A good phlebotomist is really hard to find. I try to keep track of the names of the good ones so I can ask for them when I need bloodwork done.
