Is there a thin line between teasing and making fun of us?

Support doesn't cost a thing. Happiness even less than that.
But, for some reason some people like teasing or maybe even make fun of us and sometimes you're not sure which is which but, it's about feeling, right?
These people could be workmates, family members, friends and others that are connected to us. They think they are funny but, sometimes, they aren't and then you hear a crack, when you're no longer happy and do not feel supportive. You smile but you wish to start doing something instead so that feeling goes away. It's unpleasant feeling when someone is spoiling not only your fun but also your spirit.
You're a polite person, not violent, you're not doing drugs, people should be lucky to have you in your life but for your sake well, people are not saying things for your sake. More for their own sake but under a fake face.

i also felt like that, from my cousins and some elderies. i mean, if i stop smiling, then it's not fun anymore whiel they are still laughing.
