Drone sent to rescue two hikers in Douglas County Colorado

Lake Charles, Louisiana

Douglas County Sheriffs County Search and Rescue drone was used to locate two hikers who were seen near Bear Mountain on Thursday. Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies were able to locate the hikers who used their cell phones to contact the rescue team who were low in water and cell phone battery power. A care package from the drone was sent to the hikers who were rescued safe and sound. Thank goodness no one was hurt in the rescue mission since the hikers got lost during their hike in the area. My goodness! I expected to see news about a bear attack since you mentioned the mountain is called Bear Mountain. I'm so glad the rescuers reacted quickly to save the two hikers.
