Wowwhee......A high of 90 today and tomorrow. Then we are back to the 70's. I will be pulling a garden hose tonight for sure. The other annual gig is here, too. It's shred carrots day. Hubby ground wheat last night for flour. Tomorrow is his birthday. He loves carrot cake. Last week he and helper went down to the honey shop and brought back local honey for the cake. I wonder how many people will show up?? Mostly we count on 2 to 4 people actually making an appearance. But three years ago we went epic. Seven people in and out of the house. A dear friend even stayed over night. One final event today and it should NOT be annual: tidy. Clear surfaces and vacuum fur clumps. Ha ha. Per usual I did not sleep well so my first priority is going to be sitting on the swing out back. Tomorrow morning is cake making time. Right now I am strongly considering opening the back door and letting the morning exodus begin: what a parade. Rufus on his long leash, Moxe pup and all three cats. All storming out into the sunshine.
