Sean Penn is directing a major film starring Bradley Cooper that tells the story of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. The police officers who were beaten on that historic date will have their stories told.
Like it said in the piece I read on Facebook: "Justice comes in many ways."
I wonder if any of the MAGA or Kool- Aid drinkers will see it and change their views. I'm sure many will have a lot of negative responses but, I really wonder if it will help any of them will see the light. Wishful thinking I suppose.

Good it was nothing but shameful vandalism. I feel sorry for those officers who were injured but I doubt the morons who took part will have any shame!

Ah well it's a bit like all these idiots causing damage and Injuring police in England at the behest of tiny Tommy Robinson and his right wing racists ,
They polluted , or tried to pollute Scotland as well but thankfully they got sent home to think again

It's interesting they'll be making a movie of it. I think my main issue with a lot of Trump supporters is that he can literally do anything, and they'll back him up, and that's concerning. It's not even strictly their beliefs. I do have some conservative-leaning beliefs, but my issue is the blind support of any person, no matter who they are. I think it's scary that someone could do anything, and some people will continue to support them. I have family and friends who are Trump supporters, and I don't agree with them, but it's their right to choose to vote how they want. I just don't necessarily agree. I always change the subject when it comes to politics. Some things we will never agree on. I also think a lot of the issue is that a lot of people don't believe he actually had anything to do with that, and those were extreme supporters and not the majority. I have never before seen anyone else who brought that kind of scary support for any previous president, and that's my main issue. I'm not saying there weren't a few random scary people who supported various presidents in the past, but nothing like what happened that day.

I wonder if any of them realize he said he'd be there and never showed. A lot of white supremacists were a part of it. They are ugly evil non-humans.

I doubt if it will change any of them. Sad that something could come close to being as bad as 9/11 was. In many ways this was worse as it was our own people

I still can hardly believe it happened. I think the country needs to be reminded from time to time.

I hope it's a good representation of what actually happened.
