Bougainvilleas.

It always makes me happy to pass by this area going in and out of village. The bougainvilleas are really pretty with variety of colors. I only know white and pink, but they have different hues of pink, orange and purple. It accentuates the white wall like a backdraft.
Do you like bougainvilleas?

I guess when they’re well cared for, they can grow beautifully and it’s great that they bloom all year round. We used to have them back in the province, but we didn’t care much on them, so they just grew anywhere, and it wasn’t nice to see their branches shooting out everywhere.

I love the bougainvilleas. My sister lived in San Diego, and she had them climbing up the wall up the side of her home...and climbing on a fence in the back yard. They were so beautiful.

I live in the Midwest. They don’t survive our winters here, but they do in warmer climates, like California and Florida.
