Guess what’s for lunch ……?

Yes, Thursday today and that means Mom and I have been shopping .
It also means that lunch will be Turkey baguette for me and that will be followed by a free Portuguese custard tart.
I really look forward to my Turkey baguette on a Thursday. I used to have a sliced pickled onion too but I find that the skins are tough, so I just sprinkle a little vinegar on instead.
What are you having to eat today ?

I love porridge …..people add lots of things to it but I like it plain.

We had Pizza Hut pizza last night; so we will probably have leftover pizza today. Yum.

I just ate a slice of lasagna for breakfast this morning and drank water with it. Pretty got my morning meds and made me a fresh glass of water to take the meds with and then heated up a slice of lasagna for me. I'm dizzy again this morning so she told me to stay in bed unless I need the bathroom. She can be nice at times. 
She cooked a chicken lasagna two days ago and hoped I'd help her eat it. It upset my tummy so she cooked a regular lasagna from the freezer that she knows I love. (She bought three different lasagnas last week: Chicken, regular and Mexican. I like the Mexican lasagna the most but she gets tired of that so bought the other two types this time.) One lasagna serves 8 large slices. A large slice is almost more than I can eat.

@Traceyjayne Yes, they're made for a family, not two people but buying the large size saves money and we do like them well enough to eat the family sized pan before it can spoil.
I used to make lasagnas for family gatherings but haven't been to one in years. I don't cook as much as I used to. It's too easy for me to get dizzy and fall down.. We don't need extra medical bills.

@DaddyEvil yes, bulk buy is often cheaper and if you can eat it or freeze it then even better.
Yes, I was going to mention the dizziness, you said you were dizzy this morning …..are you feeling any better now ?

Wow, those lasagne certainly are big aren’t they.
It’s one of my favourite meals. I eat it sometimes when we go out.
I make a mean lasagne but it was my Dads favourite and I haven’t been able to make it since losing him.

I had two bananas for lunch. I don't usually eat during the day & just eat dinner in the evening. But today I felt a bit woozy so had the bananas.

@Traceyjayne I have always only eaten once a day. Normally if l lunch I can't eat dinner. I thihnk it is just habit that went with my job as we rarely had time to eat lunch & I guess it has just stuck. A very bad habit I know.
