Surprise for Father’s Day

So in the United States, this Sunday is Father’s Day. My sister let me know yesterday she and her family (husband and 3 kids) are coming down Sunday before church to surprise him. She told Diana and me, and we’re keeping it quiet. He’s going to be so happy and surprised!
What are you doing for Father’s Day? Those in other countries, which day does Father’s Day fall?
And for those who have lost their fathers, I hope the day is eased by good memories, or at least not bad ones.

I will hopefully be talking to my dad and wishing him well. The surprise should be nice for your dad, and one he will enjoy.

@AmbiePam Some kids show up but they aren't "phone people." Like they may text but don't call etc.

What a lovely looking niece you have. I bet your father will be thrilled to see you all. It is Sunday here too this weekend. I really do not need anything & wish they would just spend the time together & have a lovely family day!

Amyra really wears pink well, she looks so grown up when I think back over the years of pictures of her from her baby days.
They came up with a great Father's Day gift, really all most parents want is to spend time with their kids on those days. My husband is no different. but, our son's MIL (who is divorced and our DIL's Dad doesn't even live in Canada) is having both of her daughters and their entire families in for the weekend.
It is selfish as far as I am concerned, but she is a very lonely person as well, and insists that her girls and their families have a big sleep over, and totally ignore her SIL's father's day, or them being able to honour their own Dad on that day.
We are doing brunch on Saturday for a mid day meal before they have to go to her place.
It will be run regardless of when we are together.
Besides Ron gets to see Jonathon 5 days a week now as he watches the girls for him.
