Where is my Walmart order?

I placed a Walmart order on Tuesday. I remember selecting my mother’s address as the delivery address, but after I placed the order and received the confirmation email, it said that the package will come to me instead. I received an email on Thursday that my order couldn’t be delivered. It said: “We ran into a delivery issue and brought your order back to the store. We’ll try to deliver it again later today and contact you if we have any questions or updates. If we aren’t able to reschedule delivery, we’ll need to cancel your order. We’ll confirm any cancellations.” I have no idea what delivery issue they ran into exactly. And they did not try to deliver it again later that day. Since that email there have been no updates about my order and it has yet to come to me. When I check the status of my order online, it says they’ll try to deliver it again soon. And it has been saying that for a few days already. I found the chat option online and thought I would use that to try and figure out what’s going on with my order. When I clicked on it, I learned that if you write something there, you’re talking to AI and not an actual person. I don’t know what to do. I will have to check my credit card to see if they actually charged me for my order. I hope not as I never received my order and I’m not sure I ever will.

I have used their AI chat bot before, and it was helpful, but I understand your reluctance to mess with it.

@lovebuglena Phone Support: Call Walmart's customer service at 1-800-925-6278 (1-800-WALMART) for assistance. In-Person Support: Visit the customer service desk at your local Walmart store for help with returns, exchanges, or product inquiries.

They do have a customer service number. Once my daughter called, and she got a bot...I called and I got a live person. Go to your Amazon page and see what it says about your order, maybe you can cancel it.

It is a Walmart order. Perhaps I can cancel it, but my mom needs the stuff that I ordered.

The AI bot in the chat told me just now: “Your order was originally promised for delivery by June 18, 2026, but it’s currently delayed and there’s no new delivery date listed yet. As soon as your order ships, you’ll get an update with tracking info.”

@lovebuglena Oh, my...I got it wrong,, so sorry. Yes, I would call again. Try to ask for a supervisor if you can't get a straight answer out of whoever you talk to. Often, that can make a big difference.

If it was delivered, anywhere, you would have an email saying so Phone customer services and give them the order reference They will find out what happened

It doesn’t say that it was delivered anywhere. The email said they took it back to the store but I don’t understand why they’re not trying to deliver it again.
