Guess Who's a Scientology

I keep learning of more and more actors who turn out to be Scientologists. Most already know Tom Cruise is besties with the head of this cult, David Maskavidge. John Travolta sadly is a member also. Kristy Alley too. The gal who plays June on The Testements. Can't think of her name. And the woman who does the voice of Bart Simpson. But, I just found out the gal who was in The Good Witch is one too. She was also in Jag and Navy Wives. I kinda liked her too.

There were a lot of them, sadly, but that said, I don't think Scientology necessarily makes them all terrible people; I think it's a pretty mixed bag. I feel like it depends on how deep they're in it, like Tom. Tom seems like a fairly crappy human. John, I feel like he is still a somewhat decent guy, but I also don't know a lot about him. When push comes to shove, though, once they realize whoever it is is going to pull them under, they'll abandon them, look at Danny Masterson. They basically knew they couldn't win that and washed their hands with him, even though they haven't been beyond helping others with their misdeeds in the past; it just depends on the case. There is no doubt that Scientology is a cult, but I feel like how deep in they are determines which ones have some decency left.

@celticeagle I agree, but they obviously didn't save Danny. He's serving I think like 30 years. I think there are some good people mixed up in it and that them being in it doesn't make them bad people, just misguided. I honestly don't know how deep some of them are in it. Scientology seems super creepy. I remember Danny once tried to explain it and almost no one agreed with him on the way he explained it. I need to find where I read or watched that. You could see he had no idea what he was talking about but was probably just there to have them help him cover up his crimes.

They defended Danny to the end. It's the women who paid the price and are still in court trying to get some justice. Rape is OK in their book. The big question is to the women and what did they do to draw such an act it. They are very twisted in the way they look at things.

I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise but I am a fan of John Travolta and Kirstie Alley. I love their movie, Look Who's Talking. Ive watched all the three films.
