Bike Leans - Eat My Fist

Eat it!

This mural has been viewable from the Cherry Creek Trail in Denver, CO, for a few years now. During today’s 22.5-mile Project Hero ride, I finally stopped and took a photo. There’s no story or history behind this one. I don’t even know what business is behind that fence. But apparently, fists need eating. My bike, Agent Gravel (it’s a gravel bike and I have little imagination,) decided, despite not actually having a fist, to fire a warning shot. Eat his non-fist. Link is a short of Bruce Lee serving up a fist:

Can I have mine with extra tomatoes and guacamole? Bruce Lee was a machine. The directors of The Green Hornet asked Lee to slow down a little because the cameras of 1966 couldn't keep up with him. Wasn't gonna happen.

And extra cheese. The fist aims to please. Wants good Yelp ratings.

It looks like a few tins of paint would have been used on that.

That’s actually a pretty great mural simple, bold, and just absurd enough to stick in your head. “Eat fists” definitely sounds like the kind of phrase that makes you stop and wonder what exactly inspired it.

For all I know the owner of the business had it done as a humorous warning.

Some graffiti can be amusing and positively artistic. Not too sure about this one!
