Warm, hot, Hotter!

After a week of very warm weather, today's 17°C feels downright frigid.

That is very high! I have been to England many years back. Summer highs used to be around 30 C. English homes were not meant for warmer weather's. How do you manage without an AC. It can be very tough!

I'm so surprised it's that hot there, I've always thought it was mostly cloudy with lots of rain over there. I like 28c or even 30c, I'm used to heat as long as it isn't humid.

26C - 28C would be my comfort zone too. We get a lot of hotter days in summer but we expect that and most houses nowadays are air-conditioned.

My comfort zone 19C - 24C Cooler. England can keep the really warm weather I would be staying indoors as well in heat like that

I like about 75 to 82 F with low humidity. We don't get that too often here in VA though. However, on the other hand it rarely breaks 100.

That is definitely hot. Over the last few years, we've had our share of hot days like that. Some days even going up to 45C. It's definitely hot. Thankfully the last few days haven't been so hot.

That is such hot and miserable weather, I am sorry that you are experiencing this. We have not had alot of hot days at this time. I do hope that your region gets a cool relief soon.

I like it cooler but we seldom get that.

Certainly I hate the tropical heat of Florida and the high humidity. My main hours are spent in my workroom with the AC to the left and the fan to the right, Then a stand up fan over my bed and the rest of my small apartment is oven like,

I prefer cooler weather since when the heat outside can cause me to overheat outside just staying in one place for a few minutes.

It can get hot here in Jamaica but l don't recall a 109F. Anyway, we are an island so the sea breezes help to cool things down a bit. I don't like cold nor heat. Something inbetween would be fine for me.

we too were facing a harsh summer until yesterday, we are now a bit relieved to get some downpours...

I always forget that most places there don't have AC. We are supposed to be having a heatwave our way too, but it's not uncommon for us. We usually have heat in the 100s F at least a few times over the summer, and it's always humid heat, which makes it worse. We have to have AC in our homes, or summers would be miserable. Growing up we only had one AC in our house, though and it was in my parents room. My brother and I would camp on their floor because our rooms would get unbearable. We have window units in our house now, and back then, the one in my parents' room was a window unit because they are older homes. We had to makeshift a couple of our windows to fit a window AC because they aren't the standard windows that usually hold them. They make portable ACs for these kinds of windows. We have one, but they don't work very well. Our winters are very cold too, so I don't particularly enjoy those either. We usually freeze in the winter and sweat in the summer. My husband was in Colorado a couple of summers ago, and it got to about 110 there, but he said it was better than 80 degrees here because it was a dry heat. I prefer spring and fall when the weather is between 60 and 75 degrees F. I like mild weather, but we just don't have much of it. This past couple of weeks have been beautiful here with temps staying on the lower side, but next week is supposed to get incredibly hot, and they are looking for people to lose power due to everyone using their ACs.

Here It is rainy season (not the rainy season of the subtropics) with the temperature around 26 C.take care !

Mid twenties I guess would be best for me. I don't really mind it hotter as long as I don't have to do anything too active!

I have lived in tropical climates all my life. At times, humidity adds to the heat. My comfort zone is 23 - 25 C.

My comfort zone is the same as yours. We have 35C today.
