We are in the middle of a warm weather system which is due to get hotter for the next few days. It has not been as hot today as they predicted thankfully although last night l never slept a wink. Despite trying to sleep for three hours in the end l got up & sat in my study where I have aircon.
Tomorrow & Thursday the forecast is currently predicting 38C (100.4F) & even possibly 40C (104F) if we are unlucky.
This morning we went shopping & popped over to our daughter as tomorrow it is my Grand daughters 16th Birthday. It is also her prom night. My wife paid for her dress & I bought her some earrings which hopefully she wil like & will look great on her.
We will hanker down here indoors & try to stay cool.
Here in the UK we are not used to heat as high as this. The last time it was really hot it reached 43C (109 F) where we live!
My comfort zone is around 26C - 28 C.
What is your comfort zone? Do you like it hotter or cooler?

After a week of very warm weather, today's 17°C feels downright frigid.

That is very high!
I have been to England many years back.
Summer highs used to be around 30 C.
English homes were not meant for warmer weather's.
How do you manage without an AC.
It can be very tough!

I like about 75 to 82 F with low humidity. We don't get that too often here in VA though. However, on the other hand it rarely breaks 100.

Just now
Certainly I hate the tropical heat of Florida and the high humidity. My main hours are spent in my workroom with the AC to the left and the fan to the right, Then a stand up fan over my bed and the rest of my small apartment is oven like,

Cooler.
England can keep the really warm weather
I would be staying indoors as well in heat like that
