Pressure and declining public support forced the UK Prime Minister to resign on 22nd June. Keir Starmer did a noble thing that may world leaders especially in Africa cannot. In Kenya, a scandalous leader would rather die than resign! I hope Britons will find a better leader. Meanwhile he remains a caretaker PM.

Because we elect a particular party into power, and not an individual , that party can change it's leader when they do wish during their term of office
