How’s Your Weather

in your part of the world? It’s 33 degrees Celsius here where I live. Scorching hot. I heard it will be over 30C the whole week. It’s summer in Germany. I love it. No socks to wear, just slippers at home and sandals outside.
I hope it will be a bit cooler tonight as I have to bake moist chocolate cake for an order.
I am in my balcony now writing here on Mylot. So quiet here, just the chirping of the birds.
What about you? How do you spend your day in a hot weather? Don’t forget to drink to keep you hydrated.

Hot here in southern England, as you know. I'm currently sitting in the shade doing some computer-based work but in a minute I need to go and pick some vegetables for dinner in the hot sunshine. I'm going to have a cold drink first, and get a hat!

The weather here at my town was 40 C untill three days ago. Unbearably hot. But yesterday we had a heavy downpour and the temperatures drastically came down. Now it is rather slightly cold.

That was really so hot. I am glad it rain and the temperature went down. We have 24C today. I heard that next week will be over 30C again. Thanks for dropping by @Shivram59

@Shivram59 Your typical weather is I think like in my home country Philippines. 50C is really too much. Here where I am, when the weather is around 35-39C, I can always hear the sounds of the ambulance saving people who get sick from the heat,

@thelme55 30 C is normal for us. During Summer the mercury crossed 45 C The highest temperature I've experienced in my town was 50 C.

o, ube ice cream? heard of ube and i tried it only in mochi. i wish i had a balcony but i have windows at least. today we had 36 C. i was okay with 33 C 2 days ago but this is out of control but i have ac and a fan and i try to eat and drink things that are good for me in summer. really tough summer so far. stay safe and good luck with your baking

Yes, selfmade ube ice cream @valherma00. I haven’t seen ube mochi yet. I am glad we have electric fans. They are needed at home this summer. Stay safe as well. My chocolate chiffon cake was delicious again said the people who have eaten it.

@Jehanne I think so but I have not seen ube roots yet here in our Asian supermarket.
Yes, good thing I was able to purchase Ube powder in the Philippines.
Actually, the first Ube powder I got was from the German Consulate in Frankfurt in exchange of writing about Ube and Ube recipe.

That temperature range is pretty normal here since it can reach to 46°C in the summer. That’s why when we visit your place, we really enjoy that kind of weather, as we already find it very cool. I know 33°C can feel hot on your skin, but it’s a typical daily temperature where I live. I’m sure you know that.

That’s good that your weather is cooling down. I heard that there is a Filipino restaurant or bakery in London and Scotland. Maybe they have ube ice cream there for you to taste. Ube is a purple yam. Ube ice cream taste creamy and sweet. It’s really delicious. Thanks or dropping by and have a nice weekend @Traceyjayne.

I've heard about the red heat warning in Europe. It's already the rainy season here in the Philippines. But some days are hot and humid. Apparently, we're having a Super El Nino this year. Even the months of October and November will be hot. I hope you get your ube ice cream!

Even our local news is saying how hot it is there and it's affecting so many people and their health. I hope you manage to stay cool until this heat wave breaks.
It's decent here this week, Hot but not stifling and I do have air conditioning so I'm comfortable. Looks like next week we could be heading into a bit of a heat wave.

What colorful ice cream! What flavor is it? It's hot here, but I live in the southern US, so that's very typical. There's thunder outside, so I hope we don't lose power.
